Emirates Airline enhances links between Dubai and Kuala Lumpur with yet another increase in flight frequency

Starting 1st April, Emirates Airline, one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, will offer more connectivity to its passengers flying the Dubai-KL route by offering 28 flights weekly between the two destinations, adding 1,659 seats per week for the route.

The increased additional flights between the two hubs will serve to not only boost inbound and outbound tourism, but will also cement the solid UAE-Malaysia trade relations with the 56 tonnes increase in cargo capacity per week.

From Dubai, passengers can now look forward to an additional flight daily to Kuala Lumpur which will be served by flight EK344. The Airbus A330-200 will depart Dubai at 9.35pm (local time), arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 8.55am the following day. The return flight, EK345 departs Kuala Lumpur at 10.30am arriving in Dubai at 1.30pm (local time).

Kavin Martinus, Country Manager for Emirates in Malaysia said, “We have grown by leaps and bounds in this market since we first started serving the route back in 1996. In the past four years alone, we have seen increasingly strong demands for flights between Kuala Lumpur and Dubai from business and leisure travelers alike. This latest frequency increase would certainly benefit customers, stakeholders and the business while at the same time boost the Malaysian tourism sector which is a testament of Malaysia’s role in Emirates’ Far East Network.”

Emirates has enjoyed remarkable growth in Malaysia having undergone four frequency increases in just four years. Recently, on 7th February, Emirates began flying 26 times a week on the Dubai-KL route. In December 2012, flights on the route were increased to 25 times a week. Prior to that, the number of flights was 21 flights a week, a jump from the 14 weekly flights in 2009.

Really it is an exquisite way to travel across the world through Emirates Airlines Flights. I personally enjoyed my flight. The extreme levels of comfort and in flight services by attendants were quite flattering.
