A Variety Yee Sang to Toss In Prosperity

Staying true to tradition, the Prosperity Toss or “Lou Hei” yee sang tossing experience is heighten with RWG’s signature Yee Sang available in eight variants, which include Wan Yee Yee Sang, Jellyfish Yee Sang, Salmon Yee Sang, Japanese Tuna Yee Sang, Abalone Yee Sang, Black Cavair & Salmon Yee Sang, Abalone & Salmon Yee Sang and Boston Lobster Yee Sang. 

Symbolizing good luck, prosperity, health and auspicious blessings for the Lunar Year, RWG’s signature Yee Sang can be pre-ordered at Genting Palace, Seasons, Imperial Rama, Good Friends Restaurant, Ming Ren, e18theen Inspired Dining and Resorts Seafood Steamboat for dine-in. 

For take-away, guests may purchase RWG’s signature Yee Sang from Genting Palace or Good Friends Restaurant starting 1st February until 2nd March 2018.

Pineapple Tarts for a Sweet New Year                                                                                                
Another yearly affair to usher in the Chinese New Year is the much-anticipated house visiting which will only be complete by indulging in mouth-watering homemade cookies namely the buttery light and fragrant crafted Pineapple Tarts available at Resorts World Genting. 

Bursting with sweet, chewy goodness of premium pineapples, these melt-in-your-mouth pineapple tarts are a must-have for their connotation to good luck, as the Hokkien name of the fruit, ‘Ong Lai’, translates to ‘good fortune is coming’. 

Available from 1st February onwards, these yummy golden treats can be purchased from kiosks located at Genting Palace, Good Friends Restaurant, Terminal 2, First World Hotel Tower 3 Lobby and Malaysian Food Street at SkyAvenue and Awana Sky Central. These delicious desserts are available in 20-piece pineapple tarts container and 12-piece container.

Feast in Abundance
For those planning to celebrate their festive meals at Malaysia’s favourite mountain resort, Resorts World Genting offers a lavish spread of authentic Chinese New Year cuisine featuring customary festive offerings, as well as tried-and-true palate pleasers. 

Specially available only on 16th & 17th February, Coffee Terrace and Rajawali Coffee House, Lobby Floor, Awana Genting will be serving an exclusive Chinese New Year Buffet with a mix of designated Chinese stations serving freshly-prepared Yee Sang along with an assortment of traditional Chinese New Year dishes, live action stalls dishing up festive fare.

These include deep-fried Otak-otak spring roll and more, hot and cold food stations with Prawn and Crab cocktail on ice, deep-fried soft-shelled Crab, Braised Sea Cucumber with Mushrooms, Steamed stuffed cabbage roll with scallops, and dedicated dessert counters filled with French pastries, juicy mandarin oranges, deep-fried New Year Cake, New Year cookies, candy, plum pickles and many more.

Alternatively, Food Factory located at First World Hotel will be offering nearly 100 different types of dishes ranging from Western cuisines such as Roasted Rosemary Chicken and Roasted Leg of Lamb with grilled vegetables to a variety of Chinese New Year specialities available from 16th February until 2nd March 2018 guaranteed to enliven the festive mood. 

Located mid hill at Awana Genting, Rajawali Coffee House offers an impressive lunch and dinner buffet selection of CNY specialities including traditional Claypot wantan noodles, deep-fried Crab, Hakka-style duck, Hainan-inspired braised lamb, Steamed Patin in Nyonya sauce, Salted Crab in Kam Heong sauce, Sichuan squid and more available on 16th and 17th February overlooking the pristine golf course.

Genting Palace
Being the largest Chinese restaurant in Resorts World Genting with seating capacity of 700 guests, Genting Palace offers the best of Yue cuisine combined with the fresh flavours of Guangdong Province. 





In conjunction with Chinese New Year, Genting Palace’s carefully-selected CNY Set Menu features Wild Black Caviar with Salmon Yee Sang, Flame-baked Spare Ribs with Champagne, Sauteed White Prawns, Braised African Whole 5-head Abalone with Japanese Black Mushrooms and Sea Cucumber, Braised Superior Shark’s Fin with fresh crabmeat and roe served with Emerald dumplings, Fuzhou Buddha Jump Over the Wall, Stir-fried Australian Lobster, and Roasted Crispy Suckling Pig among its main highlights.

Serving a variety of mouth-watering dishes, must-try CNY specials include Pork Rump Soup with White Fungus and Chestnuts, Yuan Yang in Eggs with Superior sauce, Steamed Seabass with Preserved Radish, Mongolian-style Salted Chicken, Golden Prawns, Stewed Pork Knuckle, Dried Oyster and Pork Meatball, Crispy Chicken with Chicken Floss and Seaweed among others. 

Diners will also be spoilt for choice by the myriad of bite-sized goodies available at Good Friends Restaurant during Dim Sum Hi-Tea served from 2pm until 5pm daily starting 16th February.
